Wayne C. Turner

Partner

Wayne Turner is a founding partner of Hoover Hull Turner LLP and a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. His practice centers on business litigation in federal and state trial and appellate courts. He represents businesses, investors, and professionals in complex, high-stakes disputes involving corporate governance, contractual relationships, and regulatory matters.

Wayne works closely with clients to understand not just the legal issues, but the business realities, objectives, and obstacles that shape each case. He approaches litigation as both an analytical and strategic discipline, combining the rigor of a historian, the insight of a psychologist, and the advocacy of a trial lawyer. With a trial-ready mindset, he develops thoughtful, practical strategies early and executes with intensity and discipline, continually refining the approach as each case evolves.

His practice spans securities and corporate governance disputes, professional liability defense, government and utility litigation, class actions, and complex business tort and contract matters. Wayne is particularly experienced in representing owners and investors in closely held entities, as well as clients in manufacturing, supply chain, and professional services industries. His focus on thorough preparation, credibility, and effective advocacy positions clients for success at trial or efficient early resolution when appropriate.

Wayne brings a sense of optimism and conviction to his work, grounded in the belief that a problem properly understood is well on its way to being solved. Outside the firm, Wayne enjoys water skiing and reading both historical nonfiction and fiction. Raised on a Southern Indiana farm, he often draws on practical, down-to-earth analogies, reflecting his belief that common sense, discipline and sound judgment drive strong outcomes.
