Riley H. Floyd

Partner

Riley Floyd is a partner with Hoover Hull Turner LLP who represents businesses, professional service firms, and individuals in their most sensitive and complex disputes. His clients include Am Law 100 and 150 law firms, Fortune 500 companies, founders and executives, and individuals and families facing significant legal, financial, and reputational risk. Whether in the courtroom or at the negotiating table, Riley focuses on litigating the issues that matter and finding creative solutions to resolve disputes efficiently without a trial.

A skilled litigator with meaningful trial experience in uncommonly high-stakes cases, Riley approaches every case with disciplined preparation, strategic judgment, and a practical understanding of client objectives. He is particularly adept at navigating sensitive disputes where credibility, careful risk management, and sound advocacy are essential.

Riley also represents individuals and companies navigating federal investigations or facing white collar criminal indictments. Clients rely on his discretion, judgment, and steady guidance, especially in circumstances where both the allegations and his involvement must remain confidential.

Ever an optimist, Riley strives to take the heat with a smile, bringing a calm and measured approach to difficult situations. Aside from a judicial clerkship, Riley has spent his entire legal career at Hoover Hull Turner LLP and has had the privilege of learning from each of its founding partners. Outside the office, Riley enjoys reading, running, and cooking for family and friends.
